N5 in eight weeks
Hiragana, katakana, basic kanji and everyday phrases.
| Vocabulary | 20 min |
| Grammar · Reading | 40 min |
| Listening | 30 min |
| Total | 90 min |
Pass mark 80 / 180, and every section has a minimum: Language knowledge & reading 38 / 120 · Listening 19 / 60.
At N5 the marks are lost on particles and on kanji readings you nearly know. Short, daily sessions beat long ones.
Plan on about 20 minutes a day. Clear your due reviews first, then do the week’s task.
