便利だが、町を覚えなくなった — Thanks to map apps I no longer get lost in unfamiliar towns. There's no doubt it's convenient. But because I walk staring at the screen, I don't remember what the town looked like. I feel I remembered streets and buildings better back when I unfolded a paper map.

Q: How does the writer feel about map apps? — Convenient, but they stopped remembering towns.. 便利な ことは まちがいない concedes the benefit; ただ introduces the cost — not remembering the town.
