駅前の 商店街に、「置きがさ」という しくみが ある。急な 雨で こまった 人が、店先の かごから かさを 自由に 借り、後日 どこかの 店に 返す。返す 店は 借りた 店で なくても よい。
始めた ときは 「返って こないのでは」と 心配する 声も あったが、実さいには 八割ほどが もどって くる。返す 場所が 多いので、返しやすいのだと いう。
残りの 二割は 戻らない。それでも 続いて いるのは、かさが 古い 傘の 寄付で まかなわれて いるからだ。
