本文 · Passage
「早起きは三文の徳」ということわざがあるが、私は長い間、朝が苦手だった。変わったのは、職場の先輩に「朝の１時間は夜の２時間に等しい」と言われ、半信半疑で早起きを試してからだ。
最初の１週間はつらいだけだった。しかし２週間目から、静かな朝の時間に読書や勉強をすると、夜よりずっと集中できることに気づいた。電話も来ないし、疲れてもいない。同じ１時間でも中身がまったく違うのだ。
もちろん、夜のほうが集中できるという人もいるだろう。大切なのは早起きそのものではなく、自分が最も集中できる時間帯を知り、その時間を大事な作業のために確保することだと思う。
