「ていねいな 暮らし」という 言葉が 流行して いる。手間を かけて 料理を し、丁寧に 掃除を する。確かに 美しい。だが、それが いつの間にか 「こう あるべきだ」という 圧力に 変わって しまっては 本末転倒だ。ていねいさとは、本来 自分が 心地よいと 感じる ために ある もので、他人に 見せる ための ものでも、自分を 追いつめる ための ものでもない。
