話し上手な人は好かれると言われる。しかし、人に好かれる人をよく観察すると、話がうまいというより、聞くのがうまいことが多い。相手の話に心から耳をかたむけ、うなずき、先をうながす。すると相手は気もちよく話し、この人には何でも話せると感じる。聞く力は、話す力におとらず大切なコミュニケーション能力なのだ。
