常識とは、その 時代、その 社会で 多くの 人が 疑わずに 受け入れて いる 前提の 集まりに すぎない。それは 便利な 道具では あるが、けっして 永遠の 真理ではない。かつて 常識で あった ことの 多くが、今では 誤りと されて いる。だからこそ、常識を 頭から 否定する 必要は ないが、ときに それを 疑って みる 態度が、思考を 前へ 進める。
