〜について
ni tsuite · about ~, concerning ~
〜について means about or on a topic: 日本の文化について話す, talk about Japanese culture.
How to form it
| Noun + について | 歴史について |
| Noun + についての + Noun | 環境についての本 |
How it is used
Before another noun it becomes についての: 「日本についての本」, a book about Japan.
In formal writing, 〜に関して means the same.
Examples

- 日本の文化について発表します。I'm giving a presentation on Japanese culture.
- その問題について、どう思いますか。What do you think about that problem?
- 環境についての本を読みました。I read a book about the environment.
- 旅行の予定について、母と話しました。I talked with my mother about the trip plans.
