〜にとって
ni totte · for ~, from ~'s point of view
〜にとって gives whose point of view a judgement is from: 私にとって家族はいちばん大切だ, for me, family matters most.
How to form it

| 〜にとっての + Noun | 私にとっての幸せ |
How it is used
The second half is an evaluation: 大切, 難しい, 必要, 問題だ. Not actions: not 「私にとって行きます」.
For doing something on someone's behalf, use 〜のために instead.
Examples
Tap a kanji for its reading.
- 私にとって、家族はいちばん大切なものです。For me, family is the most important thing.
- 外国人にとって、漢字は難しいです。Kanji are hard for foreigners.
- この写真は私にとって大事な思い出です。This photo is a precious memory for me.
- 子どもにとって、遊びは勉強と同じくらい大切だ。For children, play is as important as study.
